What does this data mean?
So many things! The default page that appears is the Overview. On this page, you will see your total number of visitors as well as your unique visitors. Unique visitors are those who have never been to your site before. Data is automatically pulled from the last 30 days but you can adjust that by clicking the date in the top right corner of your window. Most of the data you see is self-explanatory with the exception of the ‘Bounce Rate.’ That percentage tells you how many of your visitors left after only viewing one page.
What pages do your visitors go to?
To see this data, click on ‘Visitors Flow.’ This is in the sidebar under the header ‘Audience.’ The first column indicates what country they are in. The second column identifies their entry pages. The largest block in this column will be at the top and is your home page. To the right of each block is an orange bar. These are the visitors who have left your site.
